Biography
Evan Bethany’s talent far surpasses just her vocal ability. Her instrumental skill combined with an amazingly melodic voice creates a unique sound first heard in 2005 on her debut album, “It’ll Be Alright.” But her musical journey certainly started much earlier.
As a child growing up in Montana, Evan loved to play piano and also picked up the violin. She furthered her music pursuits through high school and college music programs, nourishing her remarkable talent and growing as a musician.
After college, Evan began participating in local San Diego bands. She soon met other gifted musicians who would later help launch her professional musical career. Greg Laswell, also based in San Diego at the time, was blown away by Evan’s voice and insisted on creating a record together.
“It’ll Be Alright” is no ordinary debut album. With emotions from happy to sad and everything in between, “It’ll Be Alright” tells it like it is and beautifully reflects many touching moments from Evan’s life; moments that many of us may have experienced as well. Refreshingly gutsy lyrics on top of delicate yet soaring melodies all delivered with Evan’s lovable smile creates truly captivating performances you simply must hear to appreciate.
